
Cancer has many faces, but not many of them are cartoon figures.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma society has appointed a new spokesperson for their children's campaign -- Crash Bandicoot, the lovable star of several best-selling video games since 1996. The brave and vivacious marsupial, who spends his time fighting the evil Dr. Neo Cortex in the virtual reality work, has taken on a new enemy in the real world -- cancer. His aim is to bring awareness of the disease to healthy kids and to help the sicks kids in their fight, and though it's been a while since I've seen him in a video game, I think he'll do a great job.
