To the best of my knowledge, I am of Scottish and Irish descent. I have a very similar condition. Within a few minutes of consuming a glass of beer, my face flushes. It feels overly warm and I feel very uncomfortable. I have always used it as a way to moderate my alcohol intake. Is there a chance that this is the same problem or is this something else, since I'm not aware of any East Asian link? I am a Caucasian male.
