New drug combination breast cancer patients


Researchers may have found a drug cocktail made of 3 differnt drugs, which couldn't be as effective on their own as in this combination.


Tumours where wiped out with this cocktail on mice, being the first time this was possible.

These 3 drugs are monoclonal antibodies which target certain aspects of tumours( pertuzumab; trastuzumab, also known as Herceptin; and gefitinib, or Iressa).
